On tap at the Virginia Beach location. Clear gold with a fluffy white head. Dry floral grainy nose, a bit of what I think is lime. Flavor is more of the same, rather light overall, but not bad.

Jul 14, 2008 Bottled. Bright gold body with a frothy white head. The aroma was obvious bread and carrots. The taste was slightly mild with some spice. There was also a woody smooth finish. Decent.

Jul 3, 2008 Bottle. A little hops, and little yeast to the aroma. Nice golden color with a slight white head. Some hops bitterness, and no off flavors. Was hoping for a little more crispness, or zing to the brew. A little watery, or muddled taste. Works OK as a summer drinking beer.

Lager had been made fresh, sent to freezer, then to tap.
Beautiful head and golden yellow/brown body.
Taste had a wonderful, fruity body and bite with no strong linger or bitterness.
Lacing and clean, white head was outstanding.
This was the best lager I have ever tasted. Maybe I was lucky and the brew was fresh but it was outstanding just the same.
I have never tasted from bottle but my entry was tasted from a chilled lager glass.
I am surprised it hasn’t been rated higher.
The best brewery/pub or local lager at restaurant I have ever tried.

May 18, 2008 Draft at WCBF 2008. Light grassy hop aroma. Gold color with white head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Flavor is pale malt dominated by grassy hop. A very good pilsner (so why is it classed as premium lager?).
