Pretty good. A bit malty and a little bitter. The best of the regular beers at Gordon Biersch.

Draught in DC. Great looking and sweet smelling. Luckily, taste wasn’t as sweet as the aroma. Some maltiness and a decent finish with just a hint of bitterness. Not worth the trip to Washington, but made an afternoon of sightseeing a bit more tolerable.

Draught. Head is light brown, mostly lasting. Body is dark brown. Aroma is moderately malty (roasted grain, dark chocolate, coffee), with a note of mineral/stone. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation. Easily the best Gordon Biersch creation I’ve had.

Broomfield, CO location: Dark in color, light in body. Great dark roasted notes throughout. Some coffee and some bitter chocolate. Very clean and easy to drink with nice house yeast notes.

Dark garnet color with a nice head that lasted all the way down. Malty aroma has a clear hop odor that seems to be the standard for Gordon Biersch beers. Taste was caramel with almonds. Some biscuit flavors were apparent. Body was good, but finish was slighly bitter. Not bad for my first beer here.
