2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 after4ever (5287) - Brier, Washington, USA - AUG 10, 2006
Draft at the San Jose brewery. This one has a little color--medium amber and even a hint of tan in the head. There’s roast/toast in the nose (though not much), and some in the finish, too. Not overly gifted with body or carb, and not super-flavorful, but at least you could tell it from their pilsner in a blind tasting.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Cornfield (5276) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - MAY 2, 2007
Tap: This has a deep dark brown body with a creamy ecru head. The aroma carries some lightly roasted malts, dark caramel, and lightly smoked nuts. A bit watery, but still delivering a moderately sweet, lightly roasted & toasted malt flavor with a mildly bitter finish. Quaffable.
