Brewed by brewmaster Kevin Blodger at the Gordon Biersch Rockville, MD location. Poured from bottle at Strong Beer Tasting on 3/2/12 at R.D.F. In Washington, DC. Pours an opaque, virtually black brown with good lacing. Aroma of bourbon, toasted malt, mocha and wood. Taste was heavy on toasted malt with caramel, dark fruit, raisin, mocha/chocolate/coffee and earthy flavors. Thick body with carbonation leaning toward the soft side. Silky mouthfeel.
