2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Can @ some Brussels supermarket.
Clear golden with a small, frothy, off-white head. Aroma is mildly vinious, sweet malts, some maize and light citric. Medium to low carbonation, fat and oily palate. Flavour is limited, very vinious, quite sharp and alcoholic. Mild malty aftertaste with a limited bitter finish. Not the worst Gordon, I’ve had.

1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
straw yellow, huge white head. Smells unpleasantly flat and pasteurized. There are some small hints of malt that look promising but it soon turns into an unbalanced overly sweet mess. A terribly bad beer.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
promotional sample from "den innovation" in Brussels, sampled at work, from te can (hardcore, I know :-)). Pours ultra clear straw yellow with a dense huge head. Lightly malty aromas but lots of metal. One can smell pasteurisation and filtration from miles away. Light body, too much sweetness for the watery body, light alcohol in the back. No taste, no nothing. Tiny bit of malt perhaps... that’s all. mèh.

33 cl can from the supermarket. BB 3/14
Weak aroma, not rich, metal, some hay, some banana.
Pours blond, copper, thick sparkles with a white head. Looked ok, but I don’t like their glass.
Taste is sweet, metal. Fizzy mouthfeel, a slight bitter finish. Drinks ok but is not that rich.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: OCT 7, 2013 50 cl. picked up from the nightshop. Drank straight from the can. Smell is sweet rye, caramel, black bread & raw booze, less bad than expected. Thaste is a mix of very bitter leaves, bark & forest upfront followed by brown sugar, rye, dark bread, hersb & raw unfiltered booze. Pretty okay to drink but feels heavier than 6.6 % ABV. Okay by Gordon standards.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nice, sweet, fruity aroma which reminds me of banana. It is a clear, blond beer and it has a full foamy top. It also tastes sweet and fruity, and the aftertaste is slightly bitter and has a touch of licorice.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Deep golden body with an average, fizzy, white head, mostly diminishing with a poor lacing; average density of large particles.
Light malty (grains) aroma with some notes of hops (flowers) and alcohol (spices).
Flavour is mainly sweet, due to malts and alcohol.
Medium body with an oily texture; flat carbonation; heavy alcoholic warming in the finish - not pleasant and more intense than expected from the ABV.
Nothing to remember...
