COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle and can.
Ingredients: Water, Malt, Sugar, Hops.
In 1992, Gordon launches Finest Gold, a strong and refined beer with a typically Scottish character, combining the forces of charm and persuasion. Its origins and its strength (10% degrees of alcohol) give it its smooth taste and explosive nature. The taste of this incomparable beer is nevertheless entirely suited to the new demand of its many enthusiasts. Gordon Finest Gold is today available in 33 cl and 50 cl cans.

Bottle, 33cl. Gold with white fluffy head. Sweet aroma but some alcohol as well. Dry aftertaste. Not sure about this one, this time I loved it, but it had something special.

330 ml bottle. From finestshop.be.
Clear pale golden colour with small to average size creamy white head. Aroma of malt and alcohol sweetness. Flavour is sweet boozy with almond, malt and sugary sweetness. There’s nothing Scottish just boozy blond beer. God awful glass (official Gordon Finest Beers glass) and all these Gordon Finests are pretty much the same just ABV keeps rising. Paper and hints of dry bitterness in aftertaste.

Průměrně chutné pivko, které u kterého bych vůbec neřekl, že má 10% alkoholu. Maličko má kyselý vocas, ale jinak se dá.

33cl twist off cap green glass bottle pours clear deep gold with thin white head. The overall sweet aroma is apple flavored cotton candy, honey mead, sugary sweet sugary malts and some mild yet rough booziness. That taste isn’t too much different with super sweet sugary malts, over ripe sugar coated red apples, pears, honey and a bit of a mead sensation. It ends with a lingering mead flavor as well as some chemical booze notes.

50cl can, pure Belgian malt liquor bought on a highway gas station. I am still struggling to find the finest of Scottish character.

From a bottle at an Irish pub in Ghent. Golden with a touch of fizz and ok head in a wierd own label glass. Alcohol, malt aroma. Not a bad malty beer, but its basically ok for a ’super’.
