UPDATED: JAN 30, 2006 Strong, almost out of beer clasification, but anyway, I enojy it, I had to get even with it, since I had to throw it away in Belgium.
3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 bark (255) - Linköping, SWEDEN - OCT 2, 2004
The colour is golden yellow; the big, hard foam is white.
The smell is full of fruity notes: Sweet apples, apricots and peaches are mixed with the smell of alcohol.
The taste is sweet with hints of puff pastry, wheat flour and fruit-flavoured marshmallows, but not in an annoying way. It got a light, plain taste of hops in the background. The soft aftertaste is quite alcoholic, but it got notes of sweet bread, butter (diacetyl) and marzipan.
I enjoyed this beer, shame about the high level of alcohol. After drinking a bottle (330 ml), I got very tired and a bit dizzy. Which is strange, I don’t get that reaction when I drink a pint of ESB that contains as much alcohol as in this bottle.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 dirkules (629) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 2, 2004
light yellow in colour with a long white head... malty... grassy... taste of burnt sugar... I was expecting more. sort of a disappointment.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 JorisPPattyn (7308) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - AUG 23, 2004
Dark orange-gold; huge yellowish tinted head, fluffy and fast dwindling. Roasted, and toasted, nose, candi sugar, caramel and alcohol. Again roasted taste, malty, both sweet and caramelised, and loads of alcohol - definitely part of the taste in this one. Butter toffees, bit grass, cheap liqueur as supermarket Pineau des Charentes . Slick mouthfeel, alcohol obvious without real -burn, which is remarkable for such strenght. Some time ago, I wondered about "Het Kanon" being called ’Malt liquor’. This is more one, albeit top-fermenting. Out of a can, to top it.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 JensenTaster (1719) - DENMARK - JUL 28, 2004
(on bottle)Holding a mere 10% this beer comes out as a real sneaky one. The aroma is like tofee and warm barley, very plesant. The mouth does have alot of warmth, but not like ten percent at all. You get it down, happy about the fields of barly and wells of clear mountainwater, whenyour feet wanna kick of your shoes. A very hot ending, makes this a good warmer afetr a walk by the autum sea.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 ghawener (1377) - San Salvador, EL SALVADOR - APR 11, 2004
Bottle: Yellow to light brownish color with a heavy head. Aroma is sweet and malty. Alcohol presence outshadows what could be a well balanced, strong ale.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 leaparsons (7069) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - MAR 20, 2004
Gold with a small head. Aromas are sweet candy with a whole lot of alohol. Flavours are initially sweet mellow grain followed by a hops spiciness. Then...lots of alcohol burn that isn't entirely pleasant. Like a decent malt liquor.

Pale yelow colour with a moderate white head and nice lacing on the glass. Pleasant light bitterness with an interesting twist. I am curious as to what type of hopes are used. Slightly sweet alcoholic undercurrent was the only indication of this bottles strength.
