In 1992, Gordon launches Finest Gold, a strong and refined beer with a typically Scottish character, combining the forces of charm and persuasion. Its origins and its strength (10% degrees of alcohol) give it its smooth taste and explosive nature. The taste of this incomparable beer is nevertheless entirely suited to the new demand of its many enthusiasts. Gordon Finest Gold is today available in 33 cl and 50 cl cans.

33 cl. can @ home, bought somewhere in Belgium. Golden with a thin white head. Grainy sweet aroma and taste. Nothinh more than a typical strong pale lager: too sweet, too alcoholic. Strange thing about this one though is that it was not even dirt cheap. What kind of people, besides me ofcourse, buys this kind of expensive crap?

Dorée-ambrée claire, effervescence fine, très peu de mousse. Maltée d’entrée avec trop de sucre (petit goût de miel!), petite amertume en arrière-bouche, alcool beaucoup trop présent. Moins que bof!

330ml bottle. Aroma is light yeast, slightly hops, little apple. Appearance is yellow with white foam. Taste is sweet and light sour. Has a soft carbonation, medium body, light texture and leaves a light dry mouth feel. Overall OK.

On-tap. Pours golden with a thin head. Very weak sweet and alcoholic aroma. Taste - very sweet with disgusting alcoholic flavors, pretty awful, bitter finish, not balanced. Not good.

Yellow-orange color, but a subtile foamy head. It has an aroma of alcohol which reminds of whiskey. In the taste the alcohol returns firmly, when i noticed it has 10% alcohol. Very nice sweet taste, but almost no palate at all...

Can from tiny 24/7 kiosk/newsstand/beer/liquor store in Brussels, consumed on an empty street (in proper glassware, purchased at the very same store - only in Brussels is this kinda thing possible!) around 03 in the morning. Street ratings FTW! :-D Pours a clear deep golden body with a medium off-white head. Aroma is maize, marzipan, sugar and hints of pale malts. Taste is sticky sweet maize and sugar tones and hints of pale malts, with hints of resinous grass in the back. Oily palate, medium carbonation. Not too awful actually, but still quite far from good.

33cl bottle. Pours golden with small white head that quickly disappears. Nose : booze, caramel malts, butter bread toast. Sip : oily and smooth. Decent carbonation. Sweet and cloying. Very malty and seams they forgot to hop it more generously for more balance. The beer is more for the booze and I must admit, I feel already somehow tipsy after couple of sips. That would be, I hope, the last time I drink it.
