In 1992, Gordon launches Finest Gold, a strong and refined beer with a typically Scottish character, combining the forces of charm and persuasion. Its origins and its strength (10% degrees of alcohol) give it its smooth taste and explosive nature. The taste of this incomparable beer is nevertheless entirely suited to the new demand of its many enthusiasts. Gordon Finest Gold is today available in 33 cl and 50 cl cans.

330ml (Wines Of Galillee, Tallinn)
Cheesy aroma, a bit of wool, starchy, almond, that white pasty book-binding glue. Wow, what a range of aromas. And that "wow" was nothing compared to the spine-tingling shock that hit me once the liquid had entered my mouth. Jeebus, that’s boozy, scarily so, one of the booziest beers I can remember. Sweetish retronasals, but very soon even the sweetness gets completely obliterated with pure raw booze. Horrible raw acrid bitterness in the finish, it’s disgustingly chemical. Was a nice gold, and had a nice head that was fairly persistent. My god, this was so rough, boozy, and harsh. Jeebus, we’ve still got the 12% one to go. God help us.

Clear gold, medium white head, filmy retention. Sugary, malty nose, toasty notes. Sweet, malty, toasty flavor, finishes with alcohol and malt sweetness. Lingering booze and sugar. Pretty full mouthfeel.
