In 1992, Gordon launches Finest Gold, a strong and refined beer with a typically Scottish character, combining the forces of charm and persuasion. Its origins and its strength (10% degrees of alcohol) give it its smooth taste and explosive nature. The taste of this incomparable beer is nevertheless entirely suited to the new demand of its many enthusiasts. Gordon Finest Gold is today available in 33 cl and 50 cl cans.

Intense golden hue. White head, swiftly disappearing. Aroma is porridge, iron, honey and wheat flour. Powerful sweet start. Full body. Bitter ending. Long sweet aftertaste with hints of honey. Very interesting.

This is a pretty good beer, I thought. Couldn’t tell it was 10%. I thought it seemed like a light triple. However, I did have this near the end of a very large tasting, where scores generally go up.

I had one brewed by Palm, Belgium. Banana aroma. Golden/orange colour. White rocky head. Sweet, bit syrupy, alcohol bitterness, nice but not interesting. Long sticky finish with alcohol burning.

Nice mix of hops and malt in scent. Golden amber, big fluffy head. Strong alcohol at first, with some bitterness and sweetness. Typical Belgian Strong Ale tingle. Complex. Very good.

Bright blond beer with a white head, little carbonation. Taste is sweet, fruity, bitter, honey and wheat. Sweet alcohol aftertaste, very tasty strong beer.
