COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle and can.
Ingredients: Water, Malt, Sugar, Hops.
In 1992, Gordon launches Finest Gold, a strong and refined beer with a typically Scottish character, combining the forces of charm and persuasion. Its origins and its strength (10% degrees of alcohol) give it its smooth taste and explosive nature. The taste of this incomparable beer is nevertheless entirely suited to the new demand of its many enthusiasts. Gordon Finest Gold is today available in 33 cl and 50 cl cans.

This is a pretty good beer, I thought. Couldn’t tell it was 10%. I thought it seemed like a light triple. However, I did have this near the end of a very large tasting, where scores generally go up.

Had itbefore already from bottle and draft. Now once more from draught. A very nice and good tasting strong beer. Something sweet and fruity in the taste

Dit is een heel sterk biertje (smaak) waarbij je ook nog voelt dat het een sterk alcoholpercentage bevat. Het drinkt echter toch redelijk makkelijk weg omdat het een ietswat zachte/milde afdronk heeft.

I had one brewed by Palm, Belgium. Banana aroma. Golden/orange colour. White rocky head. Sweet, bit syrupy, alcohol bitterness, nice but not interesting. Long sticky finish with alcohol burning.

Nice mix of hops and malt in scent. Golden amber, big fluffy head. Strong alcohol at first, with some bitterness and sweetness. Typical Belgian Strong Ale tingle. Complex. Very good.

Golden and misleading. Strong but not as much as you would expect from a ten percenter. Some bitterness but well balanced with the other flavours. Recommended.

After the beer was served in the glass there was found a lasting quantity not wall adhesive white foam collar which was fine and evenly of structure. The beer also contained no carbonic acid in the glass. The beer has a clear golden color and a honey sweet taste. The after tast of the beer is hoppybitter with a aniseed touch. This beer smells fruity.

33cL bottle. Clear golden color with medium head. The aroma is very malty like you would expect from a Scottish ale. The flavor is definitely of a scotch ale: malty, sweet, alcohol, kiwi, and vanilla come to mind. Quite enjoyable as it warms. It is a very interesting beer worth trying. Thanks Bob!
