Madonna che tragedia questa birra, alcol all’aroma, alcol in bocca, ho decisamente buttato tutto nel lavandino dopo tre sorsi...Dire sbilanciata č poco...

(33cl bottle thanks to bu11zeye) clear pale yellow with just a few bubbles hanging around, expected at 12%. Nose of honey, caramel, and apple. Taste of toasty caramel, grain, alcohol and honey. The alcohol really lingers on this one. The force carbonation is evident and annoying.

Bottle from a beer fair in Girona. It pours a clear golden liquid, with no foam. The aroma is boozy, but less than Finest Golden despite being 12%; there is a balanced mixture of hops and malt, but a little too sweet (caramel). It tastes accordingly to the aroma: hops, malt, alcohol (but nicely hidden) and a good deal of sweetness. It is a strong beer, but somehow it lacks taste, though. It is lowly carbonated and it has a low bitter finish, with a very sweet aftertaste. I wouldn’t recommend this one; it resembles too much its "Golden sister", with subtle differences. Not a very good beer (platinum??? boh).

Eructoblaster (2949) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 9, 2010
Bottle - 330ml. Golden body with a thin, fading white foamy head. Its malty/hoppy aroma carries sweet and flowery hints. Alcohol is detectable. Taste is dominated by sweetness and alcohol. Some malty and bready notes are present as well. Ends with a short bittersweet finish. Deluxe rocketfuel.

Bottle, 75cl corked, at Plan B. There’s some micro sized floaties in the else clear pour. Golden in color, and topped by a decent off-white head. There’s canned tropical fruits on the nose, with white sugar and lots of alcohol. The flavor is syrupy with tropical fruits and alcohol, full-bodied and warming. Lasting vinous finish. Vinous and unbalanced, a beer with too much alcohol, almost like a super strong french supermarket beer, except this one was much more expensive, and also the packaging looked much better. Been there done that. 100508
