On tap at The Highlander, Antwerp. Red beer with lasting beige creamy head. Creamy sweet red fruit malt aroma. Bit too much sweet sugar candy. Finish has some dry malt, but too sweet and overall a bit daft.

UPDATED: SEP 15, 2007 Draught at John Martin’s Restaurant (Bergamo) [ABV 8,8%].
Smooth of medium duration head. Burnt red color; enough extinguished and little fizzy one. Light ash and burned wood scent. Slightly pungent taste with overpowering bitter and alcoholic notes. Lightly top heavy and long-lasting final.

(Rating #367)

(Canned, 8.4% ABV, BBE 02/2006) Clear, darkish red-amber color with a small, big-bubbled and mostly fading head. Some toffeeish caramel in the aroma when pouring, but it disappears quickly into mild metallicity and faint toffee and berry hints. Caramely-malty, slightly sweet and roasty, very straightforward flavor. Has some wineous feel, and alcohol is quite clearly present in the finish. Barely medium-bodied - not quite enough for the ABV. It’s actually quite hard to believe that this would be top-fermented. It feels like some Estonian strong, dark lagers.

Jukkabro (3486) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAY 24, 2005
Dark red, hints of brown on color. Medium yellow head.Thin aroma: mildly sweet, chocolate and some skunkiness with mild alcohol. Flavor is better with sweetness, chocolate and caramel, ends with medium alcohol and licorice in aftertaste. Medium bodied.

From a 50cl cann. Intens warm amber color with small light beige head. Sweet caramel nose with light malty accent and some alcohol sweetness in the" smell. Taste is light malty and on the sweet side, the body is a bit thin and in the afthertaste there is a slight metallic accent with a fait alcohol bitterness.
