Alone at home. Clear red brown colored beer with medium diminishing white head and only few carbonation. Alcoholic sweet herby aroma. Medium sparkling palate with some creamed hints. Finish is sweet alcoholic slightly bitter.

De geur is echt niet goed maar de smaak valt heel goed mee. Een aanrader om eens te proberen

Umm. Smells slightly of home brew. Nice soft mouth feel. Taste of Smirnoff Red. Bit basic but actually reasonably drinkable for a silly strength beer.

Also tasted as Gordon Halloween. Malt liquor-like interpretation of the Vienna lager style, with off-white, thin and unstable foam and pure copper colour, cristal clear. Doughy sweetish aroma, dry cookies, lots of anything but subtle liquorice, candied cherries, apple peel. Very caramelly taste, sweet with resinous mouthfeel, sugary, smooth and slick, thin finish with gin-like, almost astringent alcohol and insufficient hops. Awful and artificial like the rest of its range, but I guess the alcoholics at which it is aimed, could care less about that.

Can, consumed at Nic and Anna’s leaving party, Merton, Oxon, Saturday 12th July 2014 Drinking this straight from the can at about 2-3am when if truth be told I didn’t need anymore, so no idea on colour. Sweet malty with a fair bit of toffee and caramel. The can gives it a very industrial look which fits rather well. A6 A3 T5 P3 Ov10 2.7

Dark reddish color, with white persistent head. Soft notes of red fruits and sweet malts. Finishes with a spicy alcoholic sensation. The best of the Gordon Finest series.

Can. Clear dark red body with no head. Aroma has alcohol with fuzzy caramel notes. Taste has medium earthy bitterness with very high caramel sweetness, pretty unbalanced. Like a strong eurobeer. Body is full, low carbonation.
