Strong apple aroma. Red, beige head, very nice lace. Sweet to very sweet, light spices, light bitter to bitter in the finish, strong apple flavor, little sticky, alcohol burning sensation in the finish. Not bad at all for a macro brewed beer.

Bottle: First off the bottle presentation is awesome and nice to look at, with all the lines as writing in white which brings out the red. Poured a red amber with a thin white head. Fruity sorta cherry aroma. The taste was sweet berry malt flavor, very candy and lasting finish. The best Gordon I have had from the finest series!

A very nice and tasting beer available on draft as well as from bottle. Still need to drink it ftom draft. Tastied it now on bottle

21st February 2008. Smooth reddish beer with a long lingering toffee malt finish.

Sweet, malty nose. Ruby colour, with a fair sized creamy head. Caramel, treacle flavours, sweet, warming, like cognac. A robust example of the style.

Canette de 500 ml obtenue via les Importations Privées Bièropholie. Arôme: Odeur de caramel, de fruitée et une légère touche d’alcool. Apparence: La couleur est ambrée rougeâtre avec une faible densité de bulle. Présence d’un moyen col mousseux et d’une large dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de caramel et d’alcool. La durée de l’arrière goût est moyenne. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture crémeuse. L’effervescence en bouche est moyenne. Présence d’épices en arrière goût (?). Je m’attendais à une bière ordinaire mais finalement j’ai été agréablement surpris. (Rating #367)

Darker amber, brown coloured with some carbonation and a small off-white head. Malty sweet, light roasted aroma. Full palate with some sprankling mouthfeel. Finish is bitter roasted and creamy alcoholic. Alcohol steps forward in the end. Nice.

Sampled in Nancy, France: poured a beauituful red with large tan head into a thistle. Aroma was malty and bready. Flavor was fruity with malty overtones, and a soft breadiness. Carmel and slight roast mixed in. medium bodied. On tap this wasn’t a bad beer, and it didn’t seem very lager like at all?

Quite light and fruity. It surprised me that the er was 8,8 ABV!!!. A really thirst quencher and a party starter. However a little artificial and chewinggum alike.
