May 14, 2004 Strong apple aroma. Red, beige head, very nice lace. Sweet to very sweet, light spices, light bitter to bitter in the finish, strong apple flavor, little sticky, alcohol burning sensation in the finish. Not bad at all for a macro brewed beer.

Jun 3, 2007 Bottle: First off the bottle presentation is awesome and nice to look at, with all the lines as writing in white which brings out the red. Poured a red amber with a thin white head. Fruity sorta cherry aroma. The taste was sweet berry malt flavor, very candy and lasting finish. The best Gordon I have had from the finest series!

May 4, 2003 Sweet, malty nose. Ruby colour, with a fair sized creamy head. Caramel, treacle flavours, sweet, warming, like cognac. A robust example of the style.
