(Bottled, 5% ABV, BBE 01/2011) Deep golden with a small, fading head. Bisquity-caramely malt in the nose with cardboardy notes (past BBE) and hayish hops. Flavor is caramely-malty, somewhat sweet and oxidized, some hoppy notes left. Almost medium body, soft carbonation. Could be an ok pale lager when fresh. 4224 5410218001198

Dark golden colour. Malty, biscuity aroma. Flavour is a bit stale, the curse of transparent green bottles. Otherwise quite a lot of malt sweetness.

Bottle from the nacht shop in a plastic cup back at the hotel, 13/02/12. Lager gold with a fine, generously lacing head. Evergreen, wicker, dried hay aroma with some wholemeal bread- very Hydes Winter Fuggles. Not the crappy corn-fed lager I was expecting; hay, tea and discreet aniseed like a dull brown English bitter (compliment). Pleasant and sensible, with unexpected character after an evening drinking far stronger, better beers.

330 ml bottle. 5.0%. From finestshop.be.
Clear deep golden colour with small white head. Hay, straw, malt and fruity sweetness in aroma. Hay, mold, malt and lots of strange sweetness in flavour. Not your ordinary Pale Lager. I’m not sure if it’s good or not but this definitely differs from most of the Pale Lagers.

I wanted to choose something special for my 100th rating but my special beer shop was closed ...so I just got that. 33cl bottle. Pours a clear golden/green with a small white head. Nose : very fruity, caramel malts and floral hops. Sip : Oily body with a small carbonation. Little dry, sour start. Citrus aromas and dried plums combines with clove spices. Overall it’s a easy refreshment beer but I wished it a bit more rich in flavor.

Bottled@Pressklubben, Stockholm. Deep golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is is bready much, quite hayish and grassy. Flavour is much the same. Yet it’s rather sweet.
