Bottle 330 ml. Pours dark copper red. Gets clearer as we drink. Medium persistant beige head. Lacing. Aroma: nice aroma of sweet cherry, along with caramel, malt, and spice (cinnamon, muscad). Awesome taste also: strong hints of caramel and malt. Well balanced sweetness and some bitterness in the end. Alcohol well hidden. Full bodied, but not long lasting. Warming sensation. Not very familiar with the style, but I did enjoy this one for sure!

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Poured a bright ruby with a thin, dense off-white head. Spicy aroma with tempered notes of toffee and molasses sweetness. Initial flavours of grassy hop, orange peal and cloves. More spiciness on the finish with nutmeg, ginger, cinnamon and some grain. Lots of festive flavours all in harmony.

Bottle. Pours a deep red color with an off-white head. Aroma is of caramel and fruits. Taste is a complex mix of fruits, fruits, fruits, spices, nuts, malt, caramel and only God knows what else. Quite sweet - a bit like wine, but with a dry and bitter aftertaste. I know it’s a Christmas beer, but it sorta stands out from most other similar beers I’ve had. This is...not for me - too fruity and spicy.

Nose is dust, chestnut, sugar, a little burnt caramel, hazelnut. Taste is toffee, caramel, sugar, peppermint clove spices butter / chocolate in the finish. Mouthfeel is slick It’s a surprisingly well spiced beer, the flaw is the underlying beer is a little bland and overly dry relative to the spices. As others have noted the label is beautiful.

330 ml bottle. Pours a clear ruby reddish brown with a resilient beige head. Aroma is red candies, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Flavor is mint, brown chocolate, brown sugar, caramel, red berries (especially cherries and raspberries). Finish is red berries and christmas canes. Medium body, very velvety mouthfeel, strong carbonation, to the point of making it rather prickly. Solid Christmas ale.
