Shared a 33cl bottle from Delheize (Luxembourg). Pours a light brown in colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is caramel, lightly smoked and fruity. Medium carbonation and medium body. Flavour is a little too sweet for me, but overall is a good beer. I was surprised!

Caramel malt aroma. Small very light brown head. Long lasting. Clear brown/dark amber colour. Taste is caramel malt, sour fruit (?), bitter and some metal in the end. Fills the mouth nicely.

Pours a clear brown with a thin offwhite head that leaves insane lacing. Aroma is of sweet caramel, toffee and the likes. Taste is sweet but not coma-inducing sweet, still really sweet though. Missing a little bitterness in there I think. Flavors of candies, maple syrup. Carbonation is light and body is full. Mouthfeel is kinda thick. Not bad at all, just missing a little complexity IMO.

(expiry 2014) pours unclear light brown, red tint, with a decent light beige head, some retention and lacing. toasted caramel and caramelized nuts, toffee sweetness, woodsy, stale hops, dash of dirt, spices, bit of bubblegum, grass, pepper. average carbonation, medium body - oily, some sweetness, sweet and grassy-herbal-peppery slightly harsh finish. not my cup of tea but not badly crafted either. DP.

gordon --’ cellar leftover 2011 vintage i supose pours dark brown, red glow intence sweet smell with diffrent aspects of sweetness. sugary, grainy, malty, bit caramel good carbo ( maybe a small hint to high) sweetness ( just like the smell) , earthy back, even get some coffee notes ( a very small bitter touch ) aftertaste even has the littlest amount of chocolate in it . nice . and for a gordon beer : impossibly nice !

Definitely a must taste; rich in flavour (and somewhat in alcohol), delicate and smooth to the finish. A lovely head, excellent palate and colour. Now brewed in Belgium in seems, probably at Steenhuffel. Available in my local Brussels pub!
