Dark cherry colour, transparente but dense. Aromas to yeast (bread) and milk chocolate. Mouthfeel to toffee, very creamy and bodied, but not heavy. Very easy to drink and tasty. Great.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
0,33l bottle at home. Nice deep ruby color with beige lasting head. Malt aroma. I donít know why but it was quite bitter in taste. Bitterness was so overwhelming that I didnít feel almost anything else. I will re-rate it some other time.

2.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at The Anchor, Walberswick 01/01/12. ABV advertised as 8.8%. Dark reddy brown with a tight off-white head. Aroma is light raisin and little else. Palate was thinner and more watery than expected. Light raisin and plum taste which warms nicely in the glass making the alcohol more apparent and the taste more fruity with caramel becomming apparent.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, 33cl. Very good appearence. Dark brown with red hints. Beautiful beige head that leaves a nice lace. Aroma is roasted malt and brown sugar. Flavour is very strong, specially the alcohol notes. This one is a very robust beer but it lacks a little of complexity.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Aroma: fruity, almost like strawberry and/or cherry jam, spicy (probably contains cinnamon). Also a hint of caramel.
Mouthfeel: big and foamy.
Taste: Strong, sour and sweet. I could notice a nutty tone, like hazelnuts and such. Turns to bitter as it goes down.
Finish: Ends with a firm bitter note.
Overall: not a refreshing beer. Itís a warming, very flavoursome drink though. Very satisfying.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
This beer has a good aroma, sweet-fruity, and a nice head. Unfortunately, something wich starts as a good beer gets very boring when you tast this one. It isq a good beer, but not an excellent one.
