Bottled in Kathmandu. Golden coloured. Clear. Dense off white head. Grassy and grainy aroma. Is light fruity and herbal in the flavour. A bit sweet. Thin bodied. Is light bitter and somewhat sweet in the end.

2.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle courtesy of (zdk or Paul??) at the Daduary 2013 tasting. Barely remember this, but it wasnít as awful as the label leads you to believe. Light lagery notes, slightly grainy, malty, grassy, spice and a touch of lemongrass.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottled. Pale golden colour, medum-sized but diminishing head with some lace. Slightly honey-sweet malty nose, light grassy hops, a hint of green apples and wet paper. Quite clean though. Light, slightly sweet grainy taste, lightly bitter finish. Slighty watery but quite fresh.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 7/20
Itís like a tasteless lager, with no aroma and with no bitterness. But still in mind blowing hot Nepal itís unbelievable refreshing.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
A Nepalese fry-shop owner in Antwerp had this in his cooler. It has two kukri-knives on the label, how cool is that? One will do.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Common pilsner beer. Small head that disappears quite quickly. Taste is quite flat. Nothing special.

2.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
UPDATED: OCT 3, 2014 The best known Nepalese beer next to Nepal Ice and Everest, from a Carlsberg-owned brewery in Katmandu. Thin, snow white head, colour clear golden blonde with calm sparkling. Sweet grainy aroma, typical Asian lager with hints of rice, honey, bread dough, powdered sugar and mineral water. Rather neutral taste, grainy, bit corn-like, sweetish with minerals, smooth, soft carbonation, very mild hoppiness in the finish, which stays grainy rather than becoming actually bitter. Nothing exciting apart from the fact that it comes from a country hardly anyone would go to for beer purposes.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Light malt flavor and aroma, but a little hop aroma. Gold color. Drinkable enough, but it could have more flavor. I donít think of Nepal as a place where these flavorless lagers are desirable.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Had this at a Nepalees restaurant in Leuven, Belgium.
Aroma doesnít have much to it and not very pretty to look at.
Taste is rather vile to be honoust, Iíve had few beers worse than this.
Tastes a bit moldy, like overdate bread.
Not a good beer.

Itís yellow with just a bit of head, nothing special in its looks. Smells like dirty socks mixed with coriander, a dull aroma and not tinny or alcoholic, but still not appealing. Tastes of bread and cardboard with a dry finish. Not quite interesting.
