1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Again bought in a very large plastic bottle in Ohrid, Macedonia. Metal and grass in the aroma and taste.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
1.5l plastic bottle from Tinex discount supermarket in Ohrid. Light gold colour with a firm long lasting white head. Mildly hoppy aroma, with grass and yeast. Medium body, good level of carbonation, with an unusually smooth texture for a pale lager. Bitterness to finish. Overall quite an enjoyable beer which fares well versus its peers.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Moderate golden color, with relatively low carbonation. Cheap aroma, hint of metal, grassy. Immediate sensation of it having a thin body, though some carbonation and metallic bitterness distracts the palate enough later on that you don’t have time to think much about it. A little hint of strawberry but otherwise a fairly ugly finish. The worst of the first three Macedonian beers I have tried thus far. But as the label says, only 29 denars for a .5L glass bottle! Bottle bought in Skopje.

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Has the aroma of graininess. The taste is similar, with a light body, and just a touch of hop. Nothing wrong with it.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
2L PET bottle for hobos. Clear and golden, with lots of rising bubbles and a surprisingly stable head. The aroma is also shockingly clean, with a distinct hop character. The body is thin, and the mouthfeel is very soft. It’s probably too thin, but at this ABV it is expected. There are no off-flavors. The finish is earthy and minerally. Not bad at all, and definitely one of the better beers to come in the hobo 2L size.

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Lower quality, cheap beer. Not bad, but not particularly good. For the price and nicely chilled, it gets the job done

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
1.5l PET bottle found in Ohrid, MK. Cheap, pale alternative to Skopsko. Incredibly metallic and acid-like. Drinkable, but not something to seek out.

0.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
Bottle - 1,5l. Boring pale gold body with an average white bubbly head. Its malty/hoppy aroma is barely detectable. Tastes exactly like carbonated water mixed with rotten corn syrup. Competes with the water of the Vardar river and joins my Drainpour Hall of Shame.
