2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Skinnyviking (5472) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 16, 2009
Bottle. High creamy and lasting white head. Clear yellow body. OK barley malt hay grass aroma, no actually it’s quite good. Flaovr is of barley malt, sweet and without the much desired hops bitterness. Pretty sweet actually. Low carbonation. Low carbonation.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20 alepig666 (78) - Adelaide, AUSTRALIA - JUL 16, 2009
Big green can. Poured a weak straw gold, with visible carbonation and small head that vanishes quickly. Mild aroma of hops. Equally mild taste of light hops and crackers, some grains, with a slight bitter tang at times. Aforementioned tang comes through on the swallow, and it leaves a slight, fairly pleasant grainy bitterness. Seemed pitched between a German pils and a Dutch lager. Nothing exciting, but competent, and would be a easy beer to get utterly smashed on.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 JorisPPattyn (6428) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - JUL 10, 2009
Good dense, just-yellowish tinted head over big-bubbled, metallic-golden beer. Dry grainy nose, bit flowery, going into full fresh malts and vague honey. Remarkably much more bitter initial flavour, going over fast, however, in dull-sweet maltstaste, vaguely lactic. As an aftertought, carbonation lends some fizzy near-sourishness. Light body, gristslickness. Soft waterquality. Pretty uninteresting big-volume Pilsner.

Bottle (33 cl) from Systembolaget. Clear pale golden, medium white head. Malty and slightly honeyish, with some grassy hops. Slightly sweet with low to medium bitterness.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Vertical Bacon Strips (1617) - Asshat, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 22, 2009
Dumped out of the can. Got a small but thick white cap with some tiny unfiltered stuff and some sticky lacing. The clear light yellow colour is standard. Smells a bit like a Canadain lager - sweet, grassy and hops. Good malt aroma and some early alcohol. The taste is nice and smooth with a bit of sourness but really, this needs more flavour as it is fairly plain. Seems to have more flavour when colder. Light bodied. Smooth but slighly acidic with a sharp but not overpowering bitterness.
1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20 TheHulk (479) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 16, 2009
There IS an aroma so I can’t quite give it nothing and the appearance IS better than lots of other domestic lagers. The taste is sort like a regular cheap beer that has been niced up some but there is a bit of straw aftertaste that isn’t too nice.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Cole (891) - , Alberta, CANADA - JUN 16, 2009
Pours golden yellow, tall foamy head not retention. Aroma is light and malty, with the slightest hop notes. Bitter and a little skunky tasting, very smooth and refreshing Standard Euro Lager. Great for summer and camping.
