2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 suurjuust (264) - Tartu, ESTONIA - OCT 13, 2011
Pale golden straw, white head. Malty aroma with stewed vegetables. The taste is more of the same, but the finish has some fairly pleasant bitter hoppiness to it. Prickly, lively carbonation. A pretty standard pale lager. Nothing outstanding about it, but nothing wrong either.
2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 cheapdark (2809) - Quiptown & Central Valley, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 12, 2011
Green twist off bottle but not exactly the same label shown. Has a definate skunky veggie aroma on the pop. Slight haze on a pale lager. Interesting tang on the commencement. Sharp, but not too sharp. Easy and friendly, has a tad of soda water feel to it. Good co2 pokes thru as a sizzle. Could be a decent session brew. Toward the finsh it starts to build a little medium short bitterness, but not bad overall. Very acceptable to a common lager lover. Yes, that co2 was rather enjoyable.

Bottle 33cl. A clear golden yellow colour with an average white head. An aroma of malt and cooked vegetable. The taste is medium sweet. A light body, watery texture, soft carbonation and an abrupt finish.

This is one of those beers that you’re hard pressed to distinguish amongst so many other "fargn" beers in your local liquor store. Indeed, I’d be hard up to figure out what to pick in a pinch over this from Heineken to Wäldstorf or some other central €uropáen brew to close out a friday night. Thusly and therefore, I poured it into my plastic caraffe: it has a bright piss-yellow body and a semi-solid head like any other pilsner you may find across this planet (or others). It smells of rotten garbage-infested hops and some grains that may have been dragged out from the dump -typical macro stuff. The flavour is all harsh alcohol followed by a bitter finish of tin-infused grains. This is a really, really bad attempt at a Euro lager and is hardly worth scoffing down - even if you are a thirteen year-old on your first binge, you can do better than this.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 VsXsV (389) - Linköping, SWEDEN - AUG 11, 2011
33 cl bottle from Systembolaget. Clear, pale golden liquid with medium, long lasting white head. Aroma is malty with notes of bread, cereal, corb, grain and grassy hops. Taste is light sweet with medium bitterness and some malty/biscuity notes. Quite crisp. Light to medium bodied with a bit low carbonation. Overall, quite ok but nothing special. At least it doesn’t taste bad.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 northropfrye (653) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - AUG 8, 2011
Can common. Light, clear and little bitter. This is only okay. Nothing special here.
