Can. Pale yellow with a nice sized white head. Grassy grainy hop aroma. Fairly unexciting with a very mild bitterness with a touch of malt. Mainstream Euro lage. Light palate. Drinkably boring.
2.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Marko (3133) - Split, CROATIA - SEP 17, 2004
Nothing too impressive, nice colour and ok head, but has a not-really-nice malty aroma and taste, and nothing much more. It was in the fridge fo 8 hours, so it was cold, but it wasn’t refreshing at all. It’s passable overall.

Pours a rich golden colour. Crisp refreshing taste. Not a great complex beer but great for sitting out in the sun.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Pigfoot (2267) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - AUG 29, 2004
Clear bright yellow hue, small, but well-retained head. Sweetly aromatic from afar: a little floral, dry hops, on the pilsener side, with a touch more sweetness. I was a bit put off by an initial resemblance in the aroma to typical American lagers, but that soon passed. Decent, but short finish. Clean and smooth, but woefully short on flavor of any kind. Pretty much lock-in-step with any old lager. Light body, minimal texture, nothing terrible here, but absolutely nothing to remember it by, either.

NSLC Beer Gala. Can. Golden colour with a fizzy white head. Toasted wheat, faint corn aroma, similar flavours, with a light nutty bitter finish. Light to medium bodied, slightly watery mouthfeel.

Can in Tomsk, Siberia. The can proudly says that it’s Austua’s Finest Beer or something like that. If this is true then God help that country. Tastes slightly hoppy and gassy.
