UPDATED: AUG 12, 2012 0.5L on tap. Big ol head, good lacing, light yellow color, good appearance. Offensive smell, decent carbonation, gnarly mouthfeel. I didn’t really like it.

Looks like a good example of Euro-lager with a rocky to marshmallowy head on top of a yellow-gold body. A good blend of spicy hop and pilsener malt aromas. There’s a good hoppy sharpness on a medium body (in this style) and a finish that reminds me of cracked black pepper. Not too bad all told. Worth going back for seconds in a session,

Poured a clear light straw yellow with a foamy white head with light lacing. Aroma of malt and trace of hops. Taste initally malt driven then hint of hops. Low to moderate carbonation. Light to medium body. Short dry finish.

Clear yellow body with an average, frothy, white head, mostly lasting with some lacing; high density of tiny particles.
Malty aroma with some yeast at the beginning, while a hoppy note (herbal) appears when the beer warms up.
Nice bitter-sweet balance.
Light body with a watery texture; soft carbonation; moderate metallic feeling in the finish.

On tap in Mauthen. Pours very light yellow/golden clear color. Aroma is very weak of unpleasant hops. Taste is malt and some hops, again not too pronounced. Not a completely terrible beer, but close.

500ml can. Pours a pale golden colour with a white head. Aroma is sweet malt, mineral notes, faint straw, and a faint fruity note. As for taste, woody/dusty malt notes, metallic, with a mineral finish. Not bad, just not exciting in any way.
