3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
gold color. Pretty malty for such a light beer. The mouth feel is also a bit heavy for a light beer. Good but not great

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pale yellowish brew with a medium head. Sweet and very light beer. This is good for hot summer days under the sun. I don't think there is a need to drink this more then once...

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pale straw color, medium white fluffy head. Aroma is a bit skunky and sugary. The beer itself is thin, kind of malty with some sourness and soft bitterness (destroyed by pasteurization?). Let's search for more interesting brews...

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
When poured into my glass, the head was very small sized, white and it contained fine-sized bubbles that quickly diminished. The body was clear and there was very little carbonation present. The hue was yellow and there was no lacing. The nose was malty and the flavor was bitter, hoppy, tangy and it had an aftertaste that lingered. The mouthfeel was tingly and light-medium bodied.I was not real impressed with this beer.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
This brew poured a small head of fine to medium sized mostly lasting white bubbles that left a fair lacing and alight yellow gold colored body behind. Nice mild malt hop aroma and a smooth mouthfeel with a lingering mellow flavor that I could not identify, but was nice none-the-less. Its flavor is a bit difficult to describe. There are notes of malt hop and barley in this one. It is nice and refreshing. Nothing bad about it, just nothing great either.

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
UPDATED: NOV 18, 2003 Bottled. Although the bottle I got from my fellow homebrew club member's basement was dated "Best by 3/01," it still bore up in pretty good shape. A sudsy head over the usual straw body. I can taste a little of the Dortmunder style here; certainly a little more malty sweetness than an American beer, without being sugary, and a hint of German hops. To paraphrase their own slogan; Nicht so “Gut” as a DAB, “Besser” than a Beck's.

Not too bad. Reminded me in many ways of other light European lagers. Sort of skunky. Poured a beautiful thick white head, aroma was definately malty. Very crisp finish. Good beer.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pale yellow with massive white head, pressure delivery in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Sweet malty flavour which seems to be a theme from this Brewery, a little acidic pehaps citric flavour but mostly CO2 gas. Bland and uninteresting.
