A very boring beer. No special taste, head or aroma. A very common export-beer. Don’t even bother.

Hint of maltiness and probably saaz hops, but not much else going on.

Very little aroma--what is there is slightly hoppy...Appearance is very ordinary light yellow with a white fizzy head...Malt provides slight residual sweetness but almost no body. Hops are light and sharp, providing most of the finish as well. This is pretty one-dimensional beer, about on par with better American commercial beers, but at import price cannot really be recommended.

Is this what Austrian water tastes like? I was expecting much more from this. Very little aroma or flavor - not even skunkiness (mine was in a green bottle). Finished w. a clean weak hop dryness. I could swear 20 years ago this stuff was not so bad.

Thin, slight hop finish, not a whole lot going on here overall.

UPDATED: MAY 15, 2008 Bottled:
Pours pale yellow with a white, fluffy head. Sweet and malty aroma with a light touch of citrus. Flavour has a sweet and malty background, sour notes and an unpleasant bitterness. Macro crap.

BeerLimey (2154) - California, USA - JUN 12, 2002
UPDATED: APR 18, 2005 Pretty bland lager, mild in body, not much bite, slightly dry in the finish. Nothing wrong with it, just there’s so many out there and most are better. Probably tastes better in Austria or with Austrian cuisine.

Pretty boring. Fizzy and yellow, no flavour.

Nothing exciting here. Aroma and flavor fairly non-existent. Not a bad beer, just not worthwhile.
