3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: FEB 3, 2007 Can 500 ml from LCBO
Pours medium, pillow like white foamy head leaving good lacing. Clear golden beer.
Sweet, clean well constructed malty aroma with gentle hay, mineral like hop accents at edge.
Medium, full bodied lager . Thick well established malty coat, sweetness pronounced but well balanced. Late gentle bitter bite at end. Good, clean lager, on sweeter side but crisp enough to be also refreshing. I can recommend this beer to anyone looking for well made, straight forward continental, malty brew.

Decent, but nothing spectacular about it. Just another Macro-type brew.

2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Standard international lager. Mine came in a green bottle and tasted a little skunky or corse in the first malt accent. Otherwise it was on the thin side an very lightly hopped.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pale straw with small size medium lasting white head and some large blobbed lace. Medium sharp sappy hops aroma which becomes slightly fruitier and sweeter as it warms. Medium thin crisp body. Some medium hoppy bitter ale character and flavours. Faint sweet and medium bitter finish. Nothing special.

Sweet and grassy aroma, golden, light white head. Grassy flavour, nice bitterness. Clean, crisp, bitter with good carbonation. Average.

This stuff is on par with the St Pauli Girl beer, but better because it is from the homeland... The dark is much better.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
A very boring beer. No special taste, head or aroma. A very common export-beer. Don’t even bother.

Hint of maltiness and probably saaz hops, but not much else going on.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Very little aroma--what is there is slightly hoppy...Appearance is very ordinary light yellow with a white fizzy head...Malt provides slight residual sweetness but almost no body. Hops are light and sharp, providing most of the finish as well. This is pretty one-dimensional beer, about on par with better American commercial beers, but at import price cannot really be recommended.
