3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pale gold with a fading white head; crystal clear. Aromas of breadcrust, relatively herbal hop aroma. Watered down bready malt flavors finish with noble hop bitterness. Light body.
Standard pale lager. There’s a slightly unpleasant bitterness in the finish.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Half litre bottle. A: Golden, clear, small fast fading head, fairly lively looking. S: Subtle Saaz, enough said. T: Subtle sweetness from the malt is balanced out by hints of sour dough. M: Smooth, low carbonation, slightly sticky texture. O: A cross between a Munich Helles and a Czech Pilsner, slightly forgettable but I wouldn’t refuse another if offered one.

Backlog. Tried it bottled a couple of times. Just your standard mass-produced lager. Slightly more bitter maybe than some of it’s top competitors.

Flaska från systemet. Ljus ljusgul nästan utan skumkrona. Svag lukt av bröd. Len i smaken.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
First had some on the streets of Vienna - not bad. Drinking this export version of Gosser is better than I remember. Typical-looking lager. Like all Austrian beers, I find that there is a certain German-esque bitterness present, but much lighter. Aroma is pleasant, sweet and fresh.
Flavor is mildly sweet with a slight bitterness - some corn, faint hops. Palate is pleasant - carbonation is not over-powering, lingering light bitterness. Overall, nothing exactly special, but a decent beer all around.

What;’s to like other than this is so much less offensive than some American beers that I have had. There is a slightly harsh finish to this that I didn’t enjoy and I don’t think I’ll become a fan

Bottle, 330 ml. Standard, average, watery euro lager. Certainly not the worst stuff you can get in this part of world, but not good either.
