Fizzy - so sounds more exciting than it smells. Hint of honey - sweetish lager, very bland. Pale straw, thin head. Hard to rate the palate as I didn’t notice it in my mouth. Likewise the taste. At least it has most of the nasty filtered out, but not all. Tap water is cheaper and more refreshing. What a load of rubbish. (My notes also say "piss", but I’m too polite to include that here.)

Bottle from Total Wine. Gold pour. Small white head. Aroma is typical of European lagers. Very malty, crackers, and a slight dose of hops. Flavor is malty, a bit sweet and has a very tiny hop finish. Boring.

UPDATED: FEB 3, 2007 Can 500 ml from LCBO
Pours medium, pillow like white foamy head leaving good lacing. Clear golden beer.
Sweet, clean well constructed malty aroma with gentle hay, mineral like hop accents at edge.
Medium, full bodied lager . Thick well established malty coat, sweetness pronounced but well balanced. Late gentle bitter bite at end. Good, clean lager, on sweeter side but crisp enough to be also refreshing. I can recommend this beer to anyone looking for well made, straight forward continental, malty brew.
1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 Cornfield (5277) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - JUN 17, 2005
Hmmm, so this is the beer that "tickles the palates of beer-lovers around the world." Here I thought it was one of Miller’s premium beers. Gold with a quickly dead head, it has a slightly skunky, grainy aroma, something a bit dirty. Good carbonation, but the taste is corny-sweet and metallic. I’m not sure if it’s hops gone bad or a tinny bitterness in the finish.
