April 9, 2011; 500mL tall can, cellared, BBD: Nov/11 Metallic grain aroma doesn’t last long comes through with slight malt. Pours a light golden yellow with lots of carbonation. The head is white and very porous, lasts a whole 30 seconds. Seems very carbonated. Tastes as it smells. A grassy malt with some hops, barn like. This stays throughout. A bit of syrupy sweetness as it warms. Carbonation is refreshing. Body is a little thicker than some lagers, but not substantial by any means. A little different than most lagers but could be refreshing on a hot day.

bought a six pack of it to try, normally i’d get gosser dark, but for a change why not. Cant say it was bad, would be alright for a summer I guess. While drinking it I thought I miss something here though, this beer doesnt really have a character and its not nuch different from other cheaper european lagers, in other words, theres better lagers for the same price around and I dont know If i’ll come back to this one.

Bottle in Europe. Perhaps the bottle was old, but beer was quite bitter and unpleasant. Never again.

There’s nothing special in this beer, very ordinary one. There are much more better beers in Austria.

Bottle. In the glass, it had a dull, flat look to it. Nose was typical lager, with a pleasant sweet malty tone to it. Flavour was average, though a bit light. Mid body and a pleasant, though nothing special, finish.

Distinct barley flavor and quite dry. Great ice cold with some chili or spicey goulash.

This is a great summertime session brew... it has an overall creamy, bread, flowery flavor and balanced bitterness. This beer to me is like eating a delicious fresh buttered roll. Great for warm weather when heavier styles just don’t work.
