UPDATED: NOV 18, 2003 Bottled. Although the bottle I got from my fellow homebrew club member's basement was dated "Best by 3/01," it still bore up in pretty good shape. A sudsy head over the usual straw body. I can taste a little of the Dortmunder style here; certainly a little more malty sweetness than an American beer, without being sugary, and a hint of German hops. To paraphrase their own slogan; Nicht so “Gut” as a DAB, “Besser” than a Beck's.

Can, 50 cl. A decent lager, not too much carbonation, not to hoppy. Had this at poolside, 35 degrees C, refreshing.

330ml Bottle from Systembolaget. Clear, pale golden, fluffy white head. The aroma has bread and grass. Medium carbonated, light body. The taste is sweet, bread, honey, canned corn, hay. Finish more sweet than bitter, no long aftertaste.

The can says Austria’s finest beer. It’s mass produced but not bad. While not a favorite it’s drinkable and a great session beer..

Bottle. The sweet aroma of cookies and grain. The small white fizzy head has a short duration, the body is pale yellow. The taste is a little bit rough. The body is light and dry with a normal carbonation.

tap at Peschta Wien-Hütteldorf. Golden yellow, large white head. Malty base with some dusty, woody hops that also has a herbal touch. Ok.
