Bottled, pasteurised. Light gold with heavy head. Pretty standard highly carbonated lager, few flavours other than a biscuit malt. Slightly sweet.

A so so lagerish but very sweet beer. Not sure what I drank was Gold as is just labelled Gosser beer. A very malty finish.

UPDATED: SEP 3, 2004 Clear golden color, poor, fast diminishing head. Full, malty and spicy taste with light alcohol notes. Medium, quite bitter aftertaste. Much more taste than the Märzen.

Aubrey (3193) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - DEC 23, 2002
White, frothy head atop a yellow-gold body. Pretty smooth texture; a little watery near the finish. Grainy and dryish malts; toasted bread. Somewhat of a musty, sour flavor shows here and there, which I didn’t like. Dryish and somewhat bland in the finish and aftertaste. Very mild hop presence. Overall, pretty light and the few flavors it does have, I didn’t find too enjoyable.

I’d say this is one of the better beers you’ll be able to find in Vienna. Clean, slightly hoppy and pleasant to drink.
