COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

White fine top, clear bright golden body. Aroma of pale malts, dust, not much, but a little flower. Tastes soft hops, sweet grains, bread, pale malts, flower - leading to a slightly dry finish with pale malts and appleish hops. Normal on palate. Easy, clean. [50cl can, 5.2%abv, BB01/2016]

So this sucks. Tasted at cafe sperl. Tastes and smells like a typical pale lager. Dont know what’s so special about this out what makes it a marzen.

Yellow colored, moderate white head. Malt and grains mostly, some grassy and herbal hops. Low to medium bitterness. Dry finish. Low+ bodied. Nothing special... Maybe a bit better than a standard macro lager.

Bottle at Cafe Sperl Vienna. Yo, dude, what’s up? - said in French accent . Really this is not much more flavorful or interesign than a pale lager . Inoffensive but uninspired.

Poured from a can into a plastic cup on an Austrian Airlines flight. The beer had a clear light gold color with an average-sized foamy white head, average retention, and great lacing and cling. The aroma featured barley, grainy hops, and some lighter floral and malt tones. It had a grainy bitter taste with a touch of straw and earthy tones, and a mild sourness too. The beer was fairly dry with a thinner, lighter feel and lower carbonation.

Can. Slightly stale oxidized aroma and flavour with slightly sourish finish. Otherwise easily drinkable beer without much flavour.

UPDATED: JUL 16, 2015 Bought from a food cart in Vienna. 16 oz pour from refrigerated can poured into a handled mug. Golden and totally transparent, great carbonation and a big fizzy white head. Nose is sweet barley and biscuit. Body is medium and a little creamy. Fizzy with a bit of a sharp finish. Taste reflects the nose with more light malts and breadiness. A little odd bitterness of the end that doesn?t quite sit well with me. Otherwise a pleasant and drinkable beer.
