2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 JaKeAFC (201) - ITALY - SEP 8, 2011
5L keg. Found this for 11€, expiry date dec. 2011. Well, was expetng more from a Marzen, and i was disappointed. In fact there’s no difference from a classic lager. Clear yellow body with creamy white head. Bland aroma of weak malts and some vegetables. Light hoppiness, thin body, a bit watery, low carbonation, easy to drink, average.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 mross (169) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - MAR 11, 2010
A golden colour beer with a large creamy white head. Light malty and grassy notes. Sweet malty and slight hop flavour with somewhat of a dry finish.
3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 dr.dod (145) - Szeged, HUNGARY - FEB 16, 2012
500ml bottle. Very nice, small bubbling foam, it is a light bodied beer. Pale yellow colour and clear, sweet malt taste and smell desrcibes it. A very little citrus and hop you can feel besides this. I like it!

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 wienerherb99 (21) - Wien, AUSTRIA - AUG 28, 2002
nice bitter, hoppy flavor, yellow golden colour, very refreshing, heavily carbonated, on tap 100% better than on neck, one of the best Austrain märzen
2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 hrossrm (20) - Maine, USA - JAN 23, 2008
Poured from bottle. Healthy golden color with some lively carbonation. Doughy, yeasty aroma. Very hoppy up front, but it gives way to a smooth finish. Another good Austrian beer that I would recommend to anyone who was visiting the country.
0.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20 MJROZ (3) - Villach, AUSTRIA - MAY 2, 2005 does not count
Terrible aftertaste. A bad choice for a "first beer" of the day. People have been known to change bars to avoid this beer altogether.

Gösser Märzen, **when on tap**, is absolutely the most delicious beer i have ever tasted, and it really is austria’s finest. smooth taste, wonderfully bitter aftertaste, full-bodied yet refreshing. i could drink this beer endlessly on a summer afternoon. it’s a shame we can’t find this stuff in oklahoma.
