COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Der Inbegriff für österreichisches Märzenbier macht etwa 70% des Ausstosses der Gösser Brauerei aus und ist Österreichs beliebstestes Märzenbier. Das untergärige, helle Vollbier ist in der Farbe strohgelb und im Duft hefig-malzig. Der Antrunk ist von deutlichen Malztönen geprägt. Eine leichte, angenehme Hopfennote rundet den harmonischen Geschmack von Gösser Märzen ab.

Can, 50 cl, Fine head, lasting, body is yellow with few bubles. nose is almost non-existing. Some semi sweet body and medium length. taste is a bit wheatty, but lightweight. Overall withou much character - but drinkable though.

can 500ml EXP 11/09 from supermarket at Vienna. pale yellow white head high carbonating malty bit grassy decent hops in dry aftertaste. Bit strange color and taste for märzen.

33cl can at Vienna grocery store. Clear gold color with no head, continuous fine bubbles. Surprising slight hop aroma and bitterness for a Märzen. Light-to-medium body. Moderately carbonated mouthfeel. Lacking main taste and finish.

Pours pale amber with medium sized head. Not much aroma except some faint matliness. First flavor that strikes is bitterness then some maltiness which turns into an off flavor in the aftertaste. Märzen..?
