COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Finding this one was a bit of a surprise. I spotted a couple of open 24packs of 0.33l cans of Gösser, and thought nothing of it, and then it suddenly came to me. I’ve never seen Gösser here in 0.33l cans. I picked up the can, and to my surprise it said "Märzen" on it. The importer info was nowhere to be seen, too...odd.
This poured a small fluffy white head that went away fast, and a pale golden colour. Looks nothing like märzen I’ve seen. Faint smell of cabbage and maybe malt... Relatively full taste with sweet malt, some sour lemon, and some faint alcohol. Faint hoppy aftertaste. Not impressive, but a solid Pils/Märzen/whatever.

Malzig? Kaum. Hopfig? Kaum. Pours pale amber with medium sized head. Not much aroma except some faint matliness. First flavor that strikes is bitterness then some maltiness which turns into an off flavor in the aftertaste. Märzen..?

A clear yellow colored beer, with a huge white foamy head. It disappears quickly. An aroma of grassy malts and hops. The tast is mild, with some malt and a little grainery. It has a dry aftertaste.
