COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A spezial delight. The strong, full-bodied Gösser Spezial is a delight for lovers of rich beers. This is a beer with style and a nutty, hop fragrance that is both refreshing and concentrated on the palate. An elegant hop aroma and delicate bitter tang accompany the enjoyment of this bottom-fermented beer, which demonstrates remarkable head stability. Gösser Spezial was drunk to celebrate the signing of the Austrian state treaty. 13.2°

Licensed, tasted in Budapest. Standard golden lager, very refreshing and easy drinkable. Malty flavor and tasty hoppy finish (frankly, 'twas a big surprise!).

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, malty-spicy, prickly, modest dry background. Finish well balanced, still mild. Quite drinkable. Nice! Thanks to Daniela for that bottle!

Golden colored pour. Big white, foamy, head that fades slowly and leaves some lacing behind. Malty aroma with a slightly pissy-ness. Same in the mouth, but a bit of a hoppy presence as well. A slight sourness in the back.

Canned. Had this on a train in Hungary. Not sure on how it looks but I’m sure I can take a good guess on how a lager will appear. Grainy notes and flavour. Faint hops. Low bitterness. Sourish finish.
