Bottle:
Pretty big light brown yellow tan ish head, which disappears quick, on top of a dark clear brown beer with a ruby shine.
Smell is a light mix of roasted grains, darker fruit like raisin, oatmeal and herbs.
Taste is light sweet with a bit more bitterness and hints of grains, malts, corn, barleys, a hint of darker fruits, something hoppy, herbs and nuts.
Light sweet bitter herby darker aftertaste.
Low carbo, soft mouthfeel, medium bit warery body and a light creamy texture.
Unfortunately a bit watery otherwise this would be a nice dunkel.

Aroma is caramel, some quite sugary and ryelike notes along with mild bitterness. Flavour is rye, caramel, some mild toasted notes as well as mild floral notes. OK, but not very inspiring or special.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Strykzone (2906) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - SEP 8, 2011
11.2 oz. bottle from Food N Fermentation. This pours almost black with red highlights and a nice light tan head. The nose is grassy hops and sweet malt that has light cocoa. The first sip is molasses. Grassy hops soon follow. This is plenty sweet and malty but better than expected.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Vignale (783) - Malmö, SWEDEN - AUG 27, 2011
