Flavor is chocolate malty, sweet, little nutty and dark syrup. Palate is little butter like.

Bottle (33 cl) from Systembolaget. Dark reddish brown, medium beige head. Grainy malt aroma with some roasted dark chocolate. Dry with medium bitterness. Flawless but dull.

Crisp mahogany beer with fair head poured out of the bottle. Light toast and brown malt scent. Sweet flavour. Chocolate and toast. Soft thick body. Reminds me of some Alts and Browns.

Clear red brown coloured with a medium sized off-white head.
Sweet aroma of malts, caramel, dried fruits and rye bread.
Sweet and malty flavour of caramel, dried fruits and bread.
Sweet finish.
Light watery.

On tap. Pour is deep ruby to brown in color with a small off white head. The aroma barely exists, so i can’t tell what it consists of. Flavor is sweet with a hint of roasted malt. It’s hard to describe, but there is something very unlikable about the flavor. Not my beer.

50cl bottle. Big tan head with dark ruby color. Malty aroma with notes opf caramel. Taste is sweet and roasted. Little carbonation.

Bottle (Gösser Dark) and served in pint glass: Pours a mahogany hue with a fading frothy head and almost no lace. The aroma has notes of crystal, chocolate, smoky and bready malts. Hints of juicy fruit gum and some mild peppery vapours. The taste is rather straight forward malty sweetness that is close to becoming cloy. A bit of dark fruit, smoke and spice is the only level of complexity this brew offers. There is also a bit of a skunked and sourness character that is less than ideal. The mouth feel is smooth and slightly creamy but there is a soapy tone upon the finish that is disturbing. While never offensive there is also very little to like about this bier, even at it’s moderate price for an import I will not buy this again.
