Bottle, 5.2%. Cloudy orange colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is quite yeasty, more in the mouthfeel than the flavour, really. Low bitterness. Mild, satiating and easily drinkable.

Vom Fass @Bieramt, Wien als Amtsbräu Zwickl. A dense shiny white head, atop a cloudy deep yellow colored body. Aroma of doughy pale malts. Notes of floral hops and a lemon. Taste is on the sweet side, still fairly fresh and fruity. Mildl grassy/floral bitterness, restrained malt body. Soft sparkling mouthfeel. Easy and uncomplicated, drinks very good.

Draft @ Gösser Bierklinik, Vienna. Pours a hazy yellow color with a longlasting white head. Has a fruity grassy aroma with weak yeasty hints. Fruity malty yeasty grassy flavor. Has a sweetish fruity malty grassy finish.

On draught at Iriwh pub in Vienna. Pours a dense gold color with white head. Ligbt-to-medium body. Pale malt flavor. Moderate mouthfeel. Mild slightly sweet flavor balance. OK.

UPDATED: MAR 8, 2012 Hazy orange colour with a white head. Medium malty and a lot of citrus aroma. Very fresh flavour with medium malt sweetness, fresh hops and some citrus. A very fine and fresh zwickl.

Draft at Elferhaus, Innsbruck. Pours a hazy light orange with a thin white head. Aroma of barley and grain. Light flavor of slightly toasted malt. A bit creamy with a nice bitter finish. Very dry.

Bottle. Golden sunshine and malt, sugar. Cloudy dark golden pour with a rocky, creamy white head. Love the lemon tones. Thin, lightly rough, lightly bitter, but a lovely bready taste im Nachgeschmack. Minerally and edging onto sour after volume. A pretty good Zwickl for being bottled. From the backlog, drunk back in late May 2011.

Feinwürziger Antrunk mit malziger Unterstützung. Getreidier Mittelteil, das Malz ist hier verschwunden, dafür kommt eine Hopfigkeit auf, die sich zum Abgang leicht steigert. Herb-grasig weiter im Mittelteil, kurz darauf wieder etwas würziger, hopfig. In Teilen zu lasch Test vom 23.7.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,8,9,10,9,9 - 8,90

Bottle. Hazy golden, big and lasting head. Mildly bready, strong citrusy aroma, classic hop aroma in the background. Not too intensive, with a profile that reminds me in some way of a witbier. Watery palate, watery taste - bread, citrus, some honey. Light, slightly astringent hop bitterness. Good enough but there are better zwickels out there.

Főzdefeszt, Budapest, magamnak csapolva :) Egészen ködös, homályos belsejű, világosabb narancssárga sör, aminek igen kemény, krémes és tartós fehér habja van. Illata citrusos, élesztős, enyhén magvas kenyeres és malátás. ízében is megvan ez a friss, élesztős és citrusos íz, a sok magvas rozskenyeres zamat, sok malátával és virágos komlóval. Sűrű, szinte harapható a teste, nem túl szénsavas. Utóíze enyhén fanyar, citrusos és kissé száraz. Kellemes és igen üdítő szomjoltó, ami főleg a nagy nyári melegben okozhat nekünk kellemes perceket.

Tasted on tap at „Főzdefeszt”, Bp. Hazy golden beer ruled by bready malt escorted by herbals and some citrus. The sweet-bitter finish brings spices and citrus along. Expected a bit more from it.
