Bottle. More Bohemian than German, this is a lovely, soft perfumey pils. A bit of honey, lemon and grass with a soft bitterness. Low carbonation. All in all a well made beer.

Draught at the brewery.
Pale, thin, in color with a fast-fading head. Sweet, malty aroma with butter. Rather light flavor—of malt and hops. Not particularly rich or satisfying but crisp and clean, light and refreshing with just a bit of fruit.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 omhper (15964) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAY 24, 2009
Draught at the brewpub. Clear golden, small head. Grassy nose. Dryish crisp and clean. Grassy hops are a bit subdued to fully lift the beer and the malt may be on the clean side. Still the ligt grainy crispness makes it perfectly refreshing.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 chuwy (34) - JAPAN - MAY 13, 2009
Nice crisp, dry taste. Possibly Gotemba Kogen’s best beer at the moment. A good solid pilsner.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Capa (1637) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 13, 2009
Clear golden with a full white head. Nice grass, earth, sweet malt aroma. For a pils it has a rather full body. Crisp grass hops, light sweet malts, and noticeable earth tones. Finish has light bitterness. A solid pilsener. Could use a little more hops, though.
