(on tap at the brewery). Pours a clear, yellow color. Small white head. Very light grain aroma, and light grain flavor. Avg duration. Slightly astringent. Thin texture. Soft carbonation. Minimal lacing.

The body was lightly hazy pale gold. The aroma was hay and bread crust. The taste was bread crust with a bell pepper finish. Light and easy to drink, this accomplishes its goal.

This is a revival of an old, old brand originally made in Columbus Nebraska long, long ago. The bar in this brewery is designed to look like the inside of a Behlen grain storage bin. This is a brewpub version of a standard American Light lager. Not much head, drinks easy, more history here than beer. It fits the pilsener style without the crispness or hop content.

Draught: The color of this was the first unusual thing about it: it poured a cloudy light brown color. There wasn't much head to it, with no lacing. The aroma had definite hints of a sour fruitiness to it. It almost smelled like an air freshener. The taste wasn't much better. There was some sourness, some bitterness, and not much else. Don't know what they were after here, but they clearly missed.
