Bold chocolate and burnt barley taste. I CAN NOT believe this beer is only 8.5% ABV!! Rich and delicious. It would be interesting to see this beer barrel aged! It would rival Goose Island Bourbon County!!

On tap at the Gottberg Brew Pub in Columbus. Pours a deep brown color with off white head. Like a lot of the Gottberg beers that I tried, it was a little watery, which is kind of funny to say about a 8.2% russian imperial stout. Not bad, but doesn’t have the BIG flavor of a russian imperial stout.
