Nice aroma and color, golden. Good body, but too sweet and fruity. Aftertaste was not a refreshing brew. OK, but just OK.

Tap at brewpub. Fruity, cantalope malty aroma. Golden straw color. Big sweetness of an odd sort, maybe the interplay with the yeast. Lacks crispness and too sweet for me.

On tap at the brewpub. Delicious! Rich golden color with an aroma of mown hay. Very malty in body with a nicely balance subtle bitter flavor. A well-done maibock.
