Bügelverschlußflasche (10 dl): A bit unclear, pale golden, bigger fluffy and lacy head; distinctive barrique-like (wood, vanilla, a touch of smoke) nose with a light hoppy background; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied; sweetish-bitter finish with vanilla again and a light acidity. Gulp, neither good nor convincing...........

Milder, etwas komischer Geruch, muffig. Muffiger Antrunk mit minimal rauchiger Note, leicht süß. Muffig bleibend, dann leicht herb, das Bier bleibt mild. Nach und nach verfliegt die Muffigkeit tatsächlich, was besonders im Nachgerschmack deutlich wird, den ich im Nachhinein um 3 Punkte aufwertete. An diese Stelle tritt eine engenehme würzige Note. 100cl swing top bottle; Slightly hazy, pale golden colour with a big and slowly lacing foamy white head. Sweet and slightly yeasty malty nose with a distinctive touch of herbs (distel), accompanied by a touch of iodine and vanilla. Delicately sweet flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Pale malt-character with vanilla and notes of iodine. Moderately dry and minimal bitter finish with a distinctive barrel-aged, also a bit perfumed malt-character and a light flowery touch. Interesting but not a world-shaking barrel-aged Zwickel. 13.I.09

Bottled. A hazy light golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of malt with lighter touches of straw and citrus. The flavor is sweet with notes of citrus as just a light touch of whiskey.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy very pale yellow color with a small white head. Has a sweetish malty fruity aroma with some grainy hints. Sweetish malty grainy flavor. Has a sweetish malty fruity finish with some grainy hints.

(Bottle 100 cl) Hazy pale golden with floating impurities and a basically absent head. Light aroma of wood. Light-bodied with a heavy carbonation, sweetish malty with discreet woody accents and a dry finish without much bitterness. Nice enough but not very daring. 260708

Hazy golden with medium white head. Sweet yeasty aroma with fruity and caramel notes. Flavor likewise.

The aroma has some grape. the beer is very pale and almost like water. The flavor has some whisky aftertaste.

1L siphon. Pours hazy to cloudy yellow with a lacing white head. Mild spiced and butterish aroma. Flavour is mild citric and butterish. Light to vague whiskey malt. Lingering malty, butterish and slight acidic finish.
