Some malts but otherwise a plain aroma. This is a bit sweet but also malty and yet still plain. Not that great. Test of 06.03.2009

(bottle) Clear amber colour with a mid-sized foamy and slightly tanned head. Sweet malty, moderately toasty aroma with a light herbal hoppy note. Bitter flavour, medium body, crispy, well carbonated mouthfeel. Moderately sweet and slightly toast-malty taste with drying hops right from the start; aromatic bitter and hoppy finish with a lasting malty aftertaste. Tasty Märzen with a distintive but balanced hoppiness. Thanks to my buddy Gregor for bringing me this one from his fathers beer-cellar !
