Bottle sampled. Pours cloudy amber with a good size egg shell colored head. Aroma of fruit, belgian spices, caramel, citrus, and biscuit. The flavor is sweet, fruit, caramel, brown sugar, and finishes with some bitterness. Lively carbonation and good mouth feel.

It poured an amber colour with a medium big creamy head that slowly settles down in the glass. The aroma smells of malts and apples. It has a carbonated flavour that is very bitter and tastes of malts, apples and citrus. It has a lingering aftertaste.

Jul 21, 2008 Tap @ hopleaf. Dark coppery color, medium yellow head, nice webbing. Fine aroma: chocolate, licorice and spices with mild alcohol. Medium to full bodied. Crispy palated, flavor has caramel, mild licorice and god warming alcohol. Aftertaste lasts with licorice. Typical Belgian Strong ale.
