Pinball (432), Allerød, Denmark Apr 20, 2008 small bottle. aroma was a bit subdued, perhaps bc it was too cold. Looks real great. dark and clear. Flavor is fantastic. quite sweet, but lots of interesting stuff going on underneath. alc. burns you in the aftertaste - sweeet. good mouthfeel, almost perfect for the style imo. perhaps i should’ve rated it higher than this. but somehow overall it’s "only" a 16.

Very good indeed. ucusty (1077), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Aug 28, 2008 Dark brown pour with fluffy white head and lots of yeasties. Oak, malts, and grape on the nose. Chocolate, leather, and pear. very nice beer TheGrandMaster (1451), Auckland, New Zealand Aug 27, 2008 Bottle (in NZ), pours a dark brown with a reddish hue, and a large frothy head that didn’t hold on for long. On the nose we have some medicinal malt, wood, grapes and cherries. There is a tempting subtleness to the aroma. The palate is equally complex - very smooth, with a crispness through the swallow. The malt is chocolately and leathery, with a glazed fruit flavour. This is delicious!
