keepersj12 (774), Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA Oct 4, 2009 Oh my. Where to start? From the bottle, dark brown with a small head. Aroma is wonderful. Ripe fruit, very wine like, brown sugar, vanilla. Flavor is sweet fruit , vanilla and candied sugar up front with a slightly bitter end. Finishes with a nice burn. I’m drinking this while watching a football game and a Coors Lite commercial comes on. Très bonne bière complexe. shawnm213 (841), South Bend, Indiana, USA Oct 2, 2009 Bottle shared by anand, thanks playa! robinvboyer (1419), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada Sep 22, 2009 wicked aroma of ripe fruits, plums, apples, raisins, and cherries, also an oustanding sweet bready yeasty aroma. Like a great sweet load of sugar loaf. Flavor is very sweet, but also has a nice bitterness. Lots of flavors, more fruit, some licorice, more sweet breadiness. SOme vanilla lingers, with some sweet malts. Jesus, this is a party! wow. incredible beer! very complex!
