The taste is a nice blend of sweet plum, chocolate, raisin, alcohol, and maybe some vanilla. Scent of raisins, plums, pears and dark syrup. Malty and syrupy, sweet and complex. Alcohol is right there with the hops at the finish, but I love an alcohol presence almost as much as a hoppy presence.
