I tired it during Beer Festival in Brussels A nice blond but comparing to ’blauw’ version the aroma is not that strong

Guess I should've expected something like this with a cork finished bottle of this age 2008. Appearance was a small sudsy head that settled right down to a wisp, of course no lace and a clear amber color. Aroma is mostly yeast, bread dough and some pale malt. flavor is like aroma, fortunately there is a little carbonation left to balance the sweetness and yeast domination but it still isn't enough to make for an average beer. Body also suffers from a lack of proper carbonation. Brewer you should ditch the wooden cork for beers like this. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

0.75L bottle. Pours clear golden with a rocky white head that dissipates quickly. Really potent, sweet aromas: vanilla, bubblegum, floral, anice. Flavor is mild sweet and complex. Starts with cereal grain, and then transitions to dough, licorice, ginger flavors. Long, mild, yeasty bitterness and warming alcohol in the linger. Light body with a slick mouthfeel and very active carbonation. Overall, really nice beer, with lots of aromatic character and complex flavor profile.

Bottle, 750. A clear golden beer with a big foamy white head. It has a floral aroma with citrics (especially lemon), yeast and alcohol. Taste is bitter with medium to strong carbonation and some astringency. Sweet aftertaste that reminds somewhat of peach. There is some overly sweet character at the end, but overall a good beer.

Hazy golden color with rich long lasting white foam. Aroma is very fruity, with banana, apricot and apple. Some spices as well, with pepper and coriander. Taste is fruity as well, green apple, apricot, peach and some banana, with pepper, coriander and cloves. Very balanced and well hidden alcohol. Very solid beer.
