this beer is nicely packaged, has a high price point and is fairly aromatic with a bit of a bitter taste.

75cl bottle. Pours a beautiful golden colour with a nicely proportioned head. The nose has tinned pineapple which has a sorbet note on the end. The taste has initially a lemon note, which then develops into more of the pineapple thing with a lemon yoghurt finish. The palate is full bodied with a rich creamy (and at the same time tangy) texture and an elegant long finish that is clean enough to make you want another drink. Delicious blonde!

2008 bottle from Santa ’11. Thanks! Pours a cloudy, thick cheddar orange with a nose of honey, light herbal hairspray, cinammon bread, and breaded cherries. Flavor is herbal honey, earthy raisin bread, and breaded lemon. A light bourbon essence emerges as it warms. Chunky mouthfeel. Great sippin’ beer for playoff football. KILL THE STEELERS, BRONCOS.

[75cl bottle, Appellation Wines, Edinburgh] 2011 Vintage. Pours clear gold with large fluffy white head. Sweet, floral, fruity aromas. Marzipan, yeast on the nose as well. Flavour is wonderful - rich, sweet yeasty breadiness - sticky fruit - leading into a warming alcoholic finish. Sweet on the end, extremely drinkable for 10% [25122011]

75cl bottle. Clear golden with a medium white head. Nose : Strong fruity/esters. Still really seducing bubblegum , almost like yellow fuel. Some other dried fruits (peach, plums, cherry, pineapple). Smoked wood aromas. A bit like champagne. Sip : A lot like sweet champagne ; texture and carbonation. Sweet with fruity notes start followed by dry wine grapes aromas. Overall : sweet champagne with some little yeast and caramel malts. Not my favorite but once in front of the choice, I would take expensive beer then a cheep champagne.
